To determine if your animal requires animal chiropractic treatment, look for some of the following signs:

  • Pain/facial expression
  • Sensitivity to touch
  • Reluctance to be touched or picked up
  • Discomfort putting collars or harnesses on/off
  • Tenderness under saddle
  • Holding up a paw/hoof
  • Jaw pain/difficulty chewing
  • Refusal
  • Bucking
  • Long hours in a crate/stall
  • Stiffness coming out of the crate/stall
  • Stiffness in side movement of body or neck
  • Change in stance/weight shifting/can’t weight bear
  • Change in sitting posture/abnormal posture/Uneven pelvis
  • Change in gait/limping/lameness/shortened stride
  • Avoidance of certain movements/jumping/playing/Resistance to turn
  • Doesn’t walk as far
  • Reluctance to go up/down stairs
  • Trouble getting up/down
  • Weakness/paralysis
  • Uneven muscle development
  • Abnormal tail movements/holding tail to one side
  • Decreased coordination
  • Neurologic problems
  • Change in behavior/energy/performance/sleep patterns
  • Lack of energy
  • Scratching/licking
  • Incontinence
