To determine if your animal requires animal chiropractic treatment, look for some of the following signs:
- Pain/facial expression
- Sensitivity to touch
- Reluctance to be touched or picked up
- Discomfort putting collars or harnesses on/off
- Tenderness under saddle
- Holding up a paw/hoof
- Jaw pain/difficulty chewing
- Refusal
- Bucking
- Long hours in a crate/stall
- Stiffness coming out of the crate/stall
- Stiffness in side movement of body or neck
- Change in stance/weight shifting/can’t weight bear
- Change in sitting posture/abnormal posture/Uneven pelvis
- Change in gait/limping/lameness/shortened stride
- Avoidance of certain movements/jumping/playing/Resistance to turn
- Doesn’t walk as far
- Reluctance to go up/down stairs
- Trouble getting up/down
- Weakness/paralysis
- Uneven muscle development
- Abnormal tail movements/holding tail to one side
- Decreased coordination
- Neurologic problems
- Change in behavior/energy/performance/sleep patterns
- Lack of energy
- Scratching/licking
- Incontinence
