With spring finally on the horizon there is another yearly event looming-Daylight Savings. This year it is March 10th.

Humans are most vulnerable to sleep deprivation in the spring when we “spring forward” and lose an entire hour. On average it was found that a person gets 40 minutes less sleep on the Monday after the clocks change in the spring. Some people eventually acclimate with no problem after a few weeks but that is not the case for many.

So if you are feeling a little extra groggy, make sure to make some time for self care to get through this time.
