PATIENT GUIDELINES & PROCEDURES

  1. Patients are to show up at their scheduled time. If you arrive early for your appointment, please call the office at 519-472-8700 and we will let you know if we are able to accommodate you early, or if you will need to wait outside in your car until we can accommodate you.

 

  1. Patients only will be allowed access to the clinic. If someone has accompanied, you they will need to wait outside of the clinic. No one will be allowed to wait in the reception area.

 

  1. Patients should limit the number of items brought into the clinic to the bare minimum.

 

  1. Patients will be screened over the phone when booking an appointment as well as when arriving at the office. There will be a screening form in each patients file that patients will be required to sign at each visit.  We reserve the right to update and amend these procedures and protocols at any time for the safety of staff and patients.

 

  1. Patients will be required to either wash their hands with soap and water, or use hand sanitizer upon entering the clinic.

 

  1. The College of Chiropractors of Ontario and the Ministry of Health strongly recommends that every patient that comes to the office wears a mask. This does not have to be a surgical/procedural mask. No masks will be disposed of at the office.

 

  1. It is requested that all patients do not pay in cash. When paying we request that you use the tap feature on your debit or credit card.  Our new point of sale machine allows us to text or email you a purchase receipt if you require one.

 

  1. If you normally receive a statement for your visit, we will be happy to email it to you.

 

  1. Please try to use the washroom prior to coming to the clinic for disinfecting purposes.

 

  1. If you become aware that you have come into contact with someone with a suspected of confirmed case of COVID-19, after recently visiting the office, or are getting tested yourself, please notify the office as soon as possible.
