One of the most important benefits of getting adjusted is the return of better mechanics of your spine. This can take time, especially if you have been dealing with stiffness for a long time and your spine is tight and rigid to begin with. If you have never been adjusted before, it is not uncommon to feel some post treatment soreness in the early part of care. This is only temporary, much like the soreness that you feel after going to the gym for the first time or doing an activity that you haven’t done in a long time. With each treatment, you will gain more movement, more flexibility and with it comes less tension and discomfort.
